Sustainable Fashion Panel

In November, TUGI was able to host an incredible sustainable fashion themed panel featuring organizations such as Zoelle Co, Sense of Shelf, Green Consumer Project, and others. During this event, we discuss how to get involved with sustainable fashion, what it is, what the future of the industry might look like, and more.

How-to Compost

Compost is organic material that can be added to soil to help plants grow. Food scraps and yard waste together currently make up more than 30 percent of what we throw away and could be composted instead. Making compost keeps these materials out of landfills where they take up space and release methane, a potent greenhouse gas (EPA).

Importance of Recycling

Learn more about the importance of recycling and what you CAN and CAN NOT recycle. Also, be sure to check out local recycling facilities to best understand local regulations.
